Christmas Tree Rises In St. Peter’s Square

The coronavirus pandemic has caused many Christmas traditions to be changed but putting up the Christmas Tree remains constant, including at the Vatican.

A magnificent symbol of the season made its appearance on Monday, November 30 in St. Peter’s Square. The tree is 28 meters high and 70 centimeters in diameter on the ground. It grew near Kočevska Reka, from Kočevje, Slovenia. It will embellish St. Peter’s Square during these Christmas holidays.
