Archbishop Romulo Valles of Davao has resumed his work as president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), reported CBCP News.

Valles had been on medical leave since June 2020 after a mild stroke on May 23.

On June 28, he appointed CBCP Vice President, Bishop Pablo Virgilio David of Kalookan, as the Conference’s acting president.
