Singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks said in a recent interview that Fleetwood Mac would not exist had she not aborted her child in 1979. The Fleetwood Mac singer told The Guardian that since Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s death, “women’s rights have been on [her] mind.” She said that abortion is her “generation’s fight,” adding her abortion story. Nicks got pregnant while dating Eagles lead singer Don Henley and during Fleetwood Mac’s “height” of fame.
