Catholic publishers in the United Kingdom are turning to social media and online sales in an effort to survive the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on their businesses.

Pierpaolo Finaldi, CEO of the Catholic Truth Society (CTS), told CNA that many publishers had lost 60-70 per cent of their normal income after the government imposed a nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of the disease.

“It’s a pretty huge hit to take,” he said.
