An Alphabet of Mary: Book Review

I have been a fan of Catholic Artworks for a while…after having met Brenda and George (and family!) at a few Catholic conferences.  I have been blown away by the extensive, growing collection of awesome artwork that they have created

The Holy Spirit; A Holy Light Of Love. By: C.C.

“As the day breaks we see more clearly in a mirror the spots and stains of our faces. In the same way, as the inward light of the Holy Spirit enlightens our consciences, we see more clearly and distinctly the sins, inclinations and imperfections that keep us from reaching true devotion

QUOTATION: Martyrdom in the Early Church

The suffering itself of Martyrdom was in some respects peculiar. It was a death, cruel in itself, publicly inflicted: and heightened by the fierce exultation of a malevolent populace

QUOTATION: There Are Only Two Philosophies in Life

Never forget that there are only two philosophies to rule your life: the one of the cross, which starts with the fast and ends with the feast. The other of Satan, which starts with the feast and ends with the headache.–Archbishop Fulton J.

The Crimes of Kermit Gosnell — Unsanitary Conditions

Thumbnail

From The Grand Jury Report: Former employees, including Latosha Lewis and Kareema Cross, testified to the abhorrent conditions when the clinic was operating. They described the odor that struck one immediately upon entering – a mix of smells emanating from the cloudy fish tank where the turtles were fed crushed clams and baby formula; and from boxes of medicalwaste that sat around for weeks at a time, leaking blood, whenever Gosnell failed to pay the bill to the disposal company. They described blood-splattered floors, and blood-stained chairs in which patients waited for and then recovered from abortions
