Pro-Abort Media Bias is Obvious

Pro-Abort Media Bias is Obvious Posted on May 11th, 2013 by Paycheck in Media Distortions, Pro-Life Activism  Well, I think that little statistic says it all. The March for Life number is the RCMP estimate of the March’s size which is inaccurate and wrong.

A richly deserved honour

Aunty Joanna is now Dame Joanna Bogle DSG after being appointed as a Dame of St Gregory by Pope Benedict XVI in one of the last acts of his pontificate. The award is given for those who have proved their loyalty to the Holy See by means of their public deeds and are worthy of a public expression of esteem on the part of the Holy See.Joanna is undoubtedly worthy of such recognition in view of her tireless work over decades in support of the Holy See, the promotion of the Catholic faith, raising public awareness of the Martyrs of our country, fighting fearlessly for the family, giving sterling support to good Catholic apostolates, and bravely defending the cause of Catholic womanhood in the face of sometimes bitter opposition.

Pro-Life leaders release an open letter to all Americans

More than three dozen leaders of national pro-life organizations from across the country have signed a letter calling on all Americans to take note of the ongoing murder trial of Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell, because the horrors described daily in the courtroom “represent the precise reality of the state of the abortion industry today in our country.” The letter was released just before news broke that the judge presiding over the Gosnell trial had dismissed three of the murder charges against him, as well as several lesser charges. Gosnell still faces four counts of first-degree murder of babies born alive, third-degree murder of a patient who died of a drug overdose following a botched 2009 abortion, and multiple counts of performing late-term abortions past the legal limit in Pennsylvania.

Now it’s all making sense

I’ve been watching the fascinating series Wartime Farm. Though it’s not an explicit message in the series, most striking to me was the sense that while WWII-era Britain was fighting for freedom, the country was being run like a totalitarian dictatorship. Now I know why

Baby Screaming After Gosnell Abortion: only of “local” interest

There is a saying in the news industry: “if it bleeds, it leads…”But not always.Perhaps the saying should be changed to, “if it bleeds and is politically expedient it leads, otherwise, it gets buried. For instance, you might remember the story of Kermit Gosnell, the Pennsylvania abortionist who was charged with killing at least one women and multiple (perhaps hundreds) of late-term babies in his “practice.

What I know so far

After spending one night in the new flat in Lake Town (on a mattress on the floor, kindly provided by The Dutch Couple (my landlords)) here is what I can say with confidence I know so far:a) I am not young anymore. Sleeping on the floor is no longer fun, and is, in fact, barely survivable

We Hate Children! We Hate Life!

“Better Gun Laws.”  ”Better Mental Healthcare.”…”Give Me A Break!”By Fr. John HollowellSome have asked for my thoughts on the tragedies of today, and so I share them for what they are worth. It seems like a line was crossed today that, in our country at least, has never been crossed to date.

Converting Denmark into a Muslim Country

Converting Denmark into a Muslim Country Posted on November 22nd, 2012 by Paycheck in Contraception, Islam We social conservatives who oppose contraception (and we are a minority in social conservatism), won’t really be able to tell the liberals and the unconverted social conservatives “we told you so”.Why?Because when the critical tipping point comes (which in some countries like Denmark, for instance, the tipping point has come), there won’t be enough liberals or “social conservatives” to matter. They’ll be a small ghetto, representative of the .5 kids they averaged in their lifetimes

Canadian Pro-Life Women Need to Meet…

Thumbnail

Pro-lifers have the moral high ground when it comes to issues of the rights of the unborn. The problem is, that’s not enough. We need to change the conversation about women in this country. The discourse about “women” is dominated by feminists. Pro-life women need to talk about their lives without abortion.

Benedict XVI leaves Lebanon

Benedict XVI leaves Lebanon Country can be beacon of religious co-existence, Pope says Here is a Catholic News Agency story relating that, at his departure from Lebanon, Pope Benedict XVI said the religious co-existence the people of Lebanon showed during his three-day apostolic visit can become an inspiration and model for the rest of the Middle East. “In these troubled times, the Arab world, and indeed the entire world, will have seen Christians and Muslims united in celebrating peace,” said the Pope at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri Airport Sept
