From a reader:While visiting my parents’ home (they are not Catholic; I am a convert), I was invited up to look at something on Mom’s prayer table. I forget what it was … but out of the corner of my eye, something white caught my eye.

WaPo: Homosexual Episcopal bishop dictates to Catholics what we should believe

Image 13_04_29_episcopalwedding-300x199.jpg

I saw in WaPo that the homosexual Episcopalian ex-bishop of New Hampshire is telling Catholics what their doctrine and discipline should be.This serves as a follow-up to my post about Protestants who deign to determine for Catholics what ordination really is and what Mass really is.  That is to say, when Protestant churches host a women-priest circus, they are either blatantly protesting the Catholic Church concerning her most sacred rites, or they are dictating to the Church what Catholics ought to believe. So much for ecumenism!Similarly, the openly homosexual Robinson takes it upon himself to tell Catholics what to do

An evil not even tolerated among the pagans

From an e-mail I sent today to one of my closest friends, who is concerned that I am causing unnecessary division by castigating fellow Catholics who turn a blind eye to antisemitism in the traditionalist community:I would like to ask you to prayerfully reflect upon your concern that I am being divisive. You had also expressed concern that I was being divisive when I criticized Christopher West. In that case, the issue over which I was criticizing fellow Catholics was their unwittingly falling into a way of thinking that is condoned by secular society, i.e

QUINNIPIAC POLLSTERS MISLED THE PUBLIC

In particular, I took aim at a subject that was the source of much media interest, namely the finding that Catholics support same-sex marriage by a margin of 54-38 percent. After observing that Catholics were asked 14 questions, with responses broken down on the basis of church attendance, I took note of the one exception: the poll did not disaggregate the data on the basis of church attendance regarding same-sex marriage

For the next week or so, things are going to be horrible for Catholics. I almost envy the Cardinals their secluded Conclave – no outside information, no papers, no radio, no internet……Well,I did say almost…!The abdication of the Holy Father seems to have encouraged those opposed to Pope Benedict’s reforms to speak out
