Salabai from Kyiv.During the visit, meetings with representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora in England were held.Archbishop Ilarion in concelebration with other clergymen served a prayer service in one of the Londin Churches.

25 April 2013, 21:30 | UOC (MP) | | | Code for Blog | | On 25 April, a regular session of the Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate was held in Kyiv under the chairmanship of Metropolitan Volodymyr (Sabodan).According to the web site of UOC-MP, the synod heard information of the metropolitan on the repot of Vicar of the Kyiv Metropolitanate, Archbishop Oleksandr (Drabynko) of 10.04.2013.At the synod of 21.02.2012, which was held without the participation of Metropolitan Volodymyr who was in hospital, Archbishop Oleksandr was severely criticized by the bishops for “openly criticizing the decisions of the supreme Church authority and artificially opposing the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to its Primate…” and the bishops passeda decision to dismiss him from the position of the Vicar and head of the External Church Relations Department and exclud him from the synod.
