Catholic Canada is a continuation of the steadfast labours of Fr. Terence Sehl who since 1995has pioneered the work of evangelization on the internet with his famous Catholic Canada Directory.

The directory is still integral to Catholic Canada but the media mission has been expanded to better serve the needs of Catholic Canadians.

As of April 2010, Catholic Canada has grown to become an aggregate site, a directory of articles and a daily outlet of Christ-centered content that matter most to Catholics in Canada. In this time of darkness, Catholic Canada's approach is to highlight the bright side of news, carrying articles that help Canadians discern the truth, and encourage and inspire them to hope.
