Recently, we watched the 1940 movie Abe Lincoln in Illinois. It covers the life and election of the 16th president of the United States back in 1860. At one point, the leading two candidates for the presidency Senator from Illinois Judge Stephen A. Douglas and Mr. Abraham Lincoln debate. Lincoln’s rebuttal is in large part a powerful argument about ending slavery. However, his position is just as valid when it comes to protecting the unborn.
