Something which has been rumored for a few weeks, that the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei has been abolished as a separate entity, and its duties subsumed by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, has now been officially confirmed by the publication on the Vatican’s daily Bolletino of a motu proprio to this effect, dated two days ago.
