Holy See Urges Action to End Human Trafficking

“The international community, national governments, and civil society have made substantial progress in recent years in recognizing the dimensions of the problem and increasing the resolve, the resources, and the institutions to combat it,” said  Archbishop Bernardito Auza, Apostolic Nuncio and Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations, in reference to the scourge of human trafficking. His comments cam November 9, 2018, at the conference entitled “Practical Solutions to Eradicate Human Trafficking” at UN Headquarters in New York.
