With the Rohingya Refugee Crisis, Myanmar has never received more attention from world media. The country is experiencing instability and turmoil due to conflict, fanaticism, poverty and corruption. Education is one of the ways the country can elevate itself and its peoples beyond a culture of hate and fear.
That is why the community of Catholics in the Archdiocese of Yangon, led by Cardinal Charles Maung Bo, is committed to supporting the good works of the Pinya Sanyae Institute of Education.
