Archbishop Auza Stresses Protection of ‘Marine Biological Diversity’

Archbishop Bernardito Auza Apostolic Nuncio, Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations, stressed the need to protect marine biological diversity on September 4, 2018.
His call came during an opening statement at the first session of the Intergovernmental Conference on an international legally binding instrument under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity in areas beyond national jurisdiction at the United Nations inNew York.
