At the dawn of Peace: A message to PEI from Columbia

The Latin American Mission Program (LAMP) invites the public to a presentation,

“At the dawn of Peace: A message to PEI from Columbia” by Reverend John Molina, Sunday June 25, 2017, 2:00 pm. Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Hall, 151 Stratford Road. Stratford, PEI.

This is part of LAMPs Annual General Meeting, celebrating 50 years as the Diocesan missionary program.

Fr. Molina leading a Palm Sunday procession in Columbia.

Father John has returned recently from a visit to his native country, Columbia, where he celebrated Holy Week in a small coffee growers community in the mountains.

His talk will provide us with some elements to understand the reality of the people of a country that is trying to implement the agreements of a long peace process.

He asks: Is there anything Canadians can learn from the experience in Colombia?
