Walsh U. Puts Faith in Action with Hunger Conference

One Catholic university is taking a leadership role in the global effort to build a more sustainable food system and reduce hunger and food waste worldwide.
On March 24-25 in North Canton, Ohio, Walsh University hosted two simultaneous gatherings at the “Summit Squared: One Movement. Exponential Impact.”
A combination of Campus Kitchens Project’s Fourth Annual Food Waste & Hunger Summit and the 12th Annual Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit, the conference brought together more than 300 students and university leaders from around the world.
The Newman Guide–recommended university was “honored” to host the event, Rachel Hosler, Assistant Dean of Experiential Learning at Walsh
