God calls us to a different response to that which the world invites us into. Jesus is calling us to something higher, loftier, and much more challenging. It is much more beneficial to ourselves and our society.
We are called to charity, virtue, love, and mercy. These are meant to be lived out!
We are all invited to love our enemies. In doing so, we become more like Christ. We can seek dialogue and understanding. Realize that those we thought were our enemies are not so different from us. They have dreams and aspirations just like us. They also have baggage, weaknesses, and bias’ just like us.
