O Splendidissima Gemma (O Jewel Resplendent)

O Splendidissima Gemma is an psalm antiphon to the Blessed Virgin Mary by the German mystic Saint Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179). It begins: “O splendidissima gemma et serenum decus solis qui tibi infusus est (O jewel resplendent and bright and joyous beauty of the sun that’s flooded into you)”.
