Paul Russellfounder – HOPE Australia I’m just back from the first European Symposium on Euthanasia & Assisted Suicide held in Edinburgh Scotland. Thanks to the organisers the UK Care Not Killing Alliance for putting on a fantastic event and also to the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition, Canada for sponsoring my trip.The event gathered experts from across the globe and, most notably, from every European nation where euthanasia & assisted suicide is practiced or is threatened.The event was strongly outcome focussed and many new alliances and outcomes were forged over the two days.As part of my trip I was asked to take part in a debate in Aberdeen as part of the British Science Fair.
