159th Anniversary of the Dedication of Ottawa’s Cathedral – Recalling Blessed Dina Belanger

Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica was consecrated on this day in 1853–159 years ago. Liturgically, this is a Solemnity in the cathedral and a Feast in all other churches and chapels of the Archdiocese of Ottawa.
