If ever I were to be tempted to doubt the efficacy of prayer, I have to say that in future I will remember that today I was able to celebrate a public Sunday Mass for the first time since January. It wasn’t easy, but I got there, by God’s grace. I plan to celebrate public Masses again three times this week. This is a dramatic change, and the only change in my behaviour has been to write the last post and (because they proved no use) to reduce my meds.
