Some unusual old-fashioned looking weekly broadsheets have been making their way to Parliament Hill and the offices of MPs concerning Motion M-312, MP Stephen Woodworth’s private member’s motion that would strike an all-party committee to investigate the definition of a human being in light of the latest science.
He asks questions that sound, er, philosophic.
I don’t know if any busy MPs will have time to read these notes, but you might find them intriguing, entertaining, informative and thought-provoking.

Who Am I?
The Dissenting Futilitarian is a citizen of Canada,
who believes that there is more than one way to skin a cat (in fact there is a good way & a bad way),
who believes “that you have to confront chaos and make it back into order” (thank you Jordan Peterson),
and who knows – oh yes – that the debate about Life/Choice is chaos
… yet who refuses to be defeated (bring the chaos on).
But the real question, says the DF, is … Who Are You?
What Is This?
MOTION 312, the ‘Human-being motion’ coming up for a vote in the House of Commons:
“Urgently needed”
to have justice
– OR –
Nefarious plan to re-criminalize abortion?
The key thing is, what do Members of Parliament think?
You can hope that the odds will come up in your favour, when they vote on this soon, or you can do something. The Dissenting Futilitarian is doing something.
The Dissenting Futilitarian is writing, printing, and delivering a Weekly Broadsheet on this issue to EACH of our 309 MPs (plus journalists involved in this debate).
You can read the broadsheets here.
